Description: The RH House renovation transformed an old structure into a contemporary home, with a focus on connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. The design language took to straight lines, with simple and clean finishes. One major strategy was to open up walls to bring the garden into the main living areas, creating a seamless flow with nature. Salvaged timber from the original house was repurposed into bespoke furniture, celebrating the home’s history. The single-story structure also featured a thoughtfully designed roof garden, offering generous spaces for hosting and lounging, while embracing Karachi’s sea breeze. The roof garden also offered covered space with a solar power system, combining a great spatial experience with sustainable energy solutions.
