Description: The KM Residence interior design and renovation project was undertaken to breathe new life into previously bland and disconnected interior spaces. The existing courtyards, once unused and isolated from adjoining rooms, were revitalized by introducing a custom-designed swing, raising the courtyard level, and installing large collapsible glass doors. The adjoining rooms were then revamped with a focus on introducing simple yet effective lighting through ceiling elements and elegant fixtures. A mid-sized floating fish aquarium was installed between the corridor and formal sitting area, creating an intriguing connection between spaces. The rooms were enhanced with timber elements and custom-designed furniture tailored to the family’s needs. This project successfully transformed the home, addressing the complex requirements of the family and bringing a cohesive and vibrant new aesthetic to the space.
